Chinese Characters for all the world Tadahisa Ishikawa( We are happy to be able to present the complete Mojikyo font set for international use. What is Mojikyo? It is the newest kind of software for enhanced Chinese Character word-processing. Presently, more than 80,000 character fonts have been built into Mojikyo, and we are adding more all the time. The application also contains a remarkably fast and effect system to look up Chinese characters, whether they be rare or common glyphs. One need not know the radical, pronunciation, or stroke count--just insert a part of the character that you are looking for, and you can do your search! This product is now offered publicly, in the form of CD-ROM, and at the same time, all fonts in the product will be fed to this Internet Web Page. So, everyone in the world can use any of the Mojikyo fonts, free of charge. Moreover, if you want to use Chinese Characters that are not yet contained in the Mojikyo Internet fonts, you can ask us to make new a character, provided that you inform us the source(s) of the character. We will then make them, and put them on our Web Page free of charge for public use. Chinese Characters are a very important cultural asset of the human race, so it is a very noble goal to allow everyone to use this asset any time or place. We are extremely proud of this aspect of the Mojikyo system. So please try to use Mojikyo and Mojikyo fonts. (April, 1999)
